ABOUT US

The Kettering Old Grammar School Foundation is a charitable trust that supports the education and development of young people in and around Kettering.

It continues the legacy of the original grammar school established by Queen Elizabeth I’s royal charter in 1577. Formally founded in 1911, the Foundation carries forward that historic commitment to improving educational opportunities for young people within its local community.

Through grants, bursaries, and partnerships, the Foundation helps schools, community groups, and individuals in and around Kettering access learning, enrichment, and personal development opportunities. From funding specialist equipment and inclusive school trips to operating the Govilon Activity Centre in South Wales, the Foundation ensures every young person in and around Kettering has the chance to discover their potential and achieve their goals.
